Teams that choose to participate in the Preferred Hotel Program can reserve accommodations through our official housing platform, Event Connect, with our participating hotel partners. Teams will have access to the hotel rates and room types available through Event Connect for the tournament.

To participate in the Preferred Hotel Program, reservations must be made through Event Connect using the reservation link provided in the tournament registration confirmation email or available on the tournament website under the Hotels tab.

Reservations made directly with a hotel, through third-party booking websites, or through any other booking method cannot be tracked through Event Connect and therefore will not count toward the team’s required room night total.

Each team participating in the Preferred Hotel Program is required to reserve a minimum of 56 qualifying room nights through Event Connect for the tournament.

Teams that choose to participate in the Preferred Hotel Program but do not meet the applicable room night requirement will be subject to the tournament’s applicable Opt-Out Fee. For the 2027 season, Opt-Out Fees range from $825 to $1,250, depending on the tournament, market, and brand.

Opt Out
Teams may choose to opt out of the Preferred Hotel Program and make their own lodging arrangements.

Teams that select the Opt Out option will not be required to reserve accommodations through Event Connect. The applicable Opt-Out Fee, ranging from $825 to $1,250 for the 2027 season, will apply based on the specific tournament and market.

Lodging That Does Not Qualify Toward the Preferred Hotel Program
The following reservations and booking methods cannot be credited toward a team’s required room night total:

• Reservations booked directly with a hotel
• Reservations booked through third-party travel websites, including Hotels.com, Expedia, Hotwire, HotelPlanner, etc.
• Reservations booked using hotel rewards points or discounted rates, including AAA, military, government, senior, corporate, employee, or similar rates
• Airbnb, VRBO, vacation rentals, or timeshares
• Camping
• Staying with family or friends

Because these reservations are not made through Event Connect, they cannot be tracked or credited toward the team’s qualifying room night total.

Local Teams
Teams whose registered address is located within 90 miles of the event venue may qualify for a local exemption from the Preferred Hotel Program.
