Warren County Sports Park at Union Village

The Warren County Sports Park at Union Village is operated by the Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau (WCCVB) and has been established and developed for the primary purpose of hosting championships and events by visiting athletes and their families which have a positive economic impact on Warren County (these events are held generally, but not limited to, Thursday-Sunday). The Park is also used for practices, games, leagues, camps and clinics by local/regional entities (such events are generally held, but not limited to, Monday through Thursday).

Mason Sports Park

Our secondary facility is the beautiful Mason Sports Park, less than a 10 minute drive from the Warren County Sports Park, and home to 5 more pristine diamonds. Practically just a stone’s throw away from the amazing Kings Island theme park and Soak City water park, your kids will love playing ball in this area of the country at the nation’s best week-long softball tournament.

Admission

Admission to all of the Youth Baseball Nationals games is included in the team entry fees. There will be NO GATE FEE for the event! We encourage family and friends to come to the complex to cheer on the athletes and show their support.

Baseball, Equipment and Uniforms

Game balls will be provided for all games.  Teams are to bring their own practice balls and any other necessary equipment (i.e. catcher’s gear, bats, gloves, etc.).  Uniforms are NOT provided at the Nationals. Teams are to provide their own uniforms.  Each player on a team should have a unique number displayed on their jersey.

Teams will be able to have ONE team cooler in their dugout during game play.  During check-in, we will provide your team with a team cooler tag.  This tag must be on the team cooler at all times to be allowed inside the park or dugout.  Any cooler without this tag are not permitted.  All other baseball and safety equipment are the responsibility of each team.

Cleats

Metal cleats are not allowed at Elizabethtown Sports Park. Players must wear molded cleats or turf shoes

Dugout Access

ONLY registered coaches and players are allowed on the field and inside the dugouts. Teams are NOT permitted to have a batboy/batgirl at any time. Registered coaches are required to be wearing their Nationals coach pass at all times in order to be allowed on the field of play and inside the dugouts.

First Aid

The Nationals has a medical team that will be onsite for the duration of the event. It is important to remember that our medical team are not medical doctors. They will provide basic first aid, determine the severity of injuries and make recommendations as to whether or not a player should see a doctor or go to an emergency room. The staff are employees of the local hospital closest to the facility.

Facility Rules

  • The Elizabethtown Sports Park is a tobacco-free facility. Smoking and all tobacco products are prohibited.
  • Disorderly conduct and physical/verbal assault will not be tolerated and will result in expulsion from the park for the remainder of the tournament.
  • No pets allowed at the fields. Pets are only allowed on the walking trails and must be leashed at all times.
  • Personal coolers are allowed in the park and at the fields. However, only one team cooler is permitted in the dugout or on the sideline.
  • No person shall engage in the sale of merchandise or operate any concessions without prior approval.
  • Loudspeakers are prohibited unless prior consent is given.
  • Private vehicles are prohibited on turf surfaces, sidewalks, service driveways, and emergency zones. All vehicles must be in properly designated parking areas. Violators will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
  • Overnight parking is prohibited, including RVs and campers.
  • Glass bottles or containers are prohibited in the park.
  • Grills or cookers are prohibited indoors and on all playing surfaces.
  • No fireworks or any open flame is allowed.
  • No gum, seeds, or nuts permitted on fields.
  • No unauthorized use of model planes or rockets.
  • Park may be closed at any time due to safety-related concerns.
  • No soft toss against permanent fencing/netting.
  • Metal cleats are prohibited at Elizabethtown Sports Park for all fields and age groups. Molded/rubber cleats, tennis shoes, and turf shoes are allowed.
  • Failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate removal from the park.

Game Warm-Ups

No warm-ups on the infields. All pre-game warm-ups will need to be made in the outfield grass. No soft-tossing into fences.

Parking

Parking is FREE and available at designated areas within the Elizabethtown Sports Park complex. There is limited parking in the lot closest to the baseball diamonds and it is common for that lot to be full. Additional overflow parking is available near the soccer and football complexes. Be prepared to arrive early should you need to walk from these complexes to the baseball area of the park. Limited shuttle service will be available between these lots, but we cannot guarantee that the shuttle will be available for your party when you arrive at the park. We are not responsible for any damaged vehicles, theft or loss of property.

Practices, Batting Cages

There are no designated practice areas at the Elizabethtown Sports Park. However, teams are welcome to utilize any of the open areas at their discretion. There are batting cages available on-site at the complex. The batting cages should ONLY be used by teams yet to play their scheduled game for that day. If your team has completed all of their scheduled games for the day, then we ask that you refrain from using the cages for the remainder of that day to allow for other teams to prepare for their games.
